Important Note:
Due to the recent introduction of the Exotic Newcastle Disease into Southern California, the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park have temporarily closed all walk-through aviaries in order to maintain the safety and welfare of our bird collection. Animal presentations with direct contact possibilities between guests and birds have also been stopped, and coin-operated bird feeders at the Park have been closed. The disease does not pose a risk to humans, but is fatal to all birds.
